Outboard engine, Scott-McCulloch diesel 150 HP Scott McCulloch 150 Diesel 1979.016 The second attempt by Scott McCulloch company to produce a diesel outboard which would excel in durability, fuel economy, and low-speed torque. Like its predecessor (see acc. no. 1964.088) this is a vertical in-line three-cylinder engine, and like its predecessor, its excessive weight of 200 pounds was determined to be too large for its low horsepower rating of 15 at 4000 rpm. Never put into production.
