Description

Outboard engine, Elto Speedster, 1928, 2 cyl, 7 HP, s/n 63855 Medium-sized off-set opposed twin. Steers with an on-board rudder, though this one is solid and the water intake is just in front of it, behind the propeller, rather than through it. The water exits through the exhaust. Starts with a knob crank and has an induction coil mounted underneath the gas tank. The spark and throttle are adjusted together underneath the starting wheel. There is a space for a tiller handle. This is a long shaft engine. Turns over smoothly with good compression.
