Outboard engine, Mercury Super "5" KF-5 A vertical-block in-line twin, alternate firing, from 1949, claimed to power "the right boat" to 16 mph. Choke, fuel valve, and richness adjust in the front, throttle and ignition controlled through a slot on the front. Steers with a tiller, starts with a ripcord.
