Description

Outboard engine, Lockwood Ace Lockwood Ace 86.004 Medium-sized opposed twin in the standard configuration, in this case, the cylinders are not off-set, but directly opposed. The carburetor is located in front with the fuel-filter mounted on the side, direct throttle adjustment. Exhaust manifolds feed separately into a perforated sheet-brass cylinder underneath the gas tank in back. A heat-shield protects the gas tank from the heat of the exhaust. Side name labels and lubrication instruction labels are in tact, but the large label on the back of the tank is mostly worn off, and the tank is dented. The (starting instructions?) label on the front-starboard side is completely gone. Does not have a rope for starting or spark plugs.
