Outboard engine, Wizard Super Twin "6" This is a vertical block in-line two cylinder, six horsepower, from the late forties. Unique modern styling in front and exposed torpedo-shaped cylinders and spark-plug covers (one missing) in rear. Original labels showing starting and lubrication instructions are present and readable. Pull-start with original ripcord. Throttle, choke, and shift controls are all on the front of the engine, steers by tiller handle only. Underwater exhaust. Appears complete except for the missing spark-plug cover, though oil drips show a leak in the tank on the starboard side. this engine is visibly the same as the Mercury Rocket KD-4 (see acc. no. 1990.028).Collection
