This collection belongs to the Alexandria Township Historical Society at the Cornwall Brothers Store Museum in Alexandria Bay, NY. The digitization of this collection has been a collaboration between the Society and the Antique Boat Museum. The boxes were loaned, one at a time, for digitization, then returned. Both entities retain the digital copies, but the physical originals only exist at the Society.

Archive Notes

Digital copies are stored on the Digital Collections server of the Antique Boat Museum and with the Cornwall Brothers Store Museum. Digital access copies are also made available online through the Antique Boat Museum. System of Arrangement: Original order is being preserved, when possible. This original order exists from the time when Tony Mollica, Jr. studied the collection in 2014. In some boxes, no records existed in folders prior to digitization, so folders are being created while maintaining original order of the old boxes the records arrive in. In these boxes, folders are created by natural changes in the objects scanned, and by breaking up large portions in order to not overstuff the folders. Some boxes will be combined into one box for maximum space efficiency. In other instances, the boxes did contain labeled folders. The folder names were kept, expect in instances where misspellings were obvious. These folders were likely labeled by Tony Mollica, Jr.
