Adirondack guideboat, attributed to Warren Cole, 1890, but see note following.
According to Stephen Sulavik, a researcher of adirondack guideboats who visited the Museum in August, 2005, this guideboat was built not by Cole but by George Washington Smith of Long Lake, NY. Mr. Sulavik has more information on Smith which I requested he share with us for the files.
