Blue wind jacket, embroidered on back: Miss America IX, Miss Canada IV.
Jacket was discovered floating in the River several years ago by Fritz Hager, who stored it in his closet. Fritz, cleaning out his closet, donated it to the Museum in early 2010. At the 46th Annual Antique Boat Show, Charles Mistele, owner of Miss America IX, reported that his father had several of these coats made, some with names embroidered on the front breast.Acquisition
