Gentlemen:
Your letter of October 29, 1932, to Mrs. Anna N. Brown, has been referred to me for reply.
She accepts your proposition contained in said letter, subject to slight change in the method of making your deferred payments. She had rather these payments be made two hundred and fifty dollars, ($250.00), each quarter instead of five hundred dollars, ($500.00), each six months and of course, since she was expecting this to be a cash sale, she expects you to take care of the small charges which might be made by the bank for handling the collections and remittances to her and holding her Deed in escrow which it now has.
Contracts to this effect have been executed by Mrs. Brown and are being sent, today, to the Watertown Savings Bank with instructions that they accept these payments and remit to Mrs. Brown and when the contract is complied with, they are to deliver to you the Warranty Deed and you can deliver to the bank, now, five hundred dollar ($500.00) cash payment, together with your notes for the remainder of the thirty-five hundred dollars, covering the full purchase price of said property.
Yours very truly,
Thomas L. Slappey
Attorney

The Fitzgerald & Lee collection was discovered in 2014, in the attic space of what used to be the Fitzgerald & Lee business offices. The collection was donated to the Alexandria Township Historical Society. Fitzgerald & Lee were prominent boat builders of the area from 1920-1942, building custom boats and selling Gar Wood boats. The museum holds several Fitzgerald & Lee built boats in its permanent collection.Collection
