Gentlemen:
Since my last letter to you, the Watertown Savings Bank is in receipt of the proposed contract by which your corporation is purchasing the premises on Sisson Street in your Village from Mrs. Anna N. Brown.
As you know, the terms of the contract are that $500.00 shall be paid in cash, and the balance paid at the rate of $250.00 every three months, the first quarterly payment to be made three months from November 1st, 1932, for which quarterly payments you are to execute and leave with the Watertown Savings Bank your promissory notes, payable with interest at the rate of six per cent (6%) per annum.
The deed has been executed by Mrs. Brown and is left with the Watertown Savings Bank, to remain there in escrow until all payments on the contract have been made, at which time the deed will be delivered to you.
The proposed contract has also been executed by Mrs. Brown.
Your President had better come out to the Watertown Savings Bank, bringing with him your corporate seal, and also the abstract of title which I forwarded to you for examination, and also the $500.00 for first payment and the promissory notes of the corporation as above stated. We will then have the contracts executed here in triplicate, and will deliver one to him, and have one for Mrs. Brown and one for the Watertown Savings Bank.
Kindly give the matter your prompt attention.
Very truly yours, William W. Kelley

The Fitzgerald & Lee collection was discovered in 2014, in the attic space of what used to be the Fitzgerald & Lee business offices. The collection was donated to the Alexandria Township Historical Society. Fitzgerald & Lee were prominent boat builders of the area from 1920-1942, building custom boats and selling Gar Wood boats. The museum holds several Fitzgerald & Lee built boats in its permanent collection.Collection
