Co., Extension Curtain Rods, Ogdensburg, N.Y.] August 26 1938 Fitzgerald & Lee, Inc., Alexandria Bay, N.Y. Attention of Mr. Bernard Fitzgerald Dear Mr. Fitzgerald: As I phoned you yesterday, I have just received New York draft on Appleton & Cox, Inc. for $297.60 in settlement of P/A claim against claim H800922 under Agricultural Insurance Company policy. I wish you to know that I consider this a very fair adjustment on the part of the insurance company and thank you for the way in which you handled the matter. As I promised yoy, I am immediately remitting you my personal check for the above amount. I also enclose my check for $25.00 additi0onal in payment of your bill dated August 15th for reconditioning the motor in the boat "Dixie". Your man arrived promptly this morning, and apparently the motor is now working perfectly. Very truly yours, Albert P. Newell P.S. Your bill is $297.60. Draft is $297.60. Had deposited draft before I noted the difference. In case this is a clericl error, I will remit the difference on request. A.P.N.
