Messrs Lee & Fitzgerald,
Alexandria Bay
Gentlemen,
Of course I did not see the Kinkaid boat you mentioned and do not know whether you said anything about my cruiser; but if he likes it, you could give me a description of his boat, original price, and your idea of its seaworthiness, bottom, beam, etc. and we could settle the deal.
If not, I hope you will try to sell the cruiser for something like $1500 but if not and you have any offer please let me know.
Tell me too if I cannot buy my next boat through you even if you have not the agency for it. Cannot you order it direct from the maker and get the commission?
Yours sincerely,
Francis J. O'BrienCollection
