Dear Friend,
Thank you for you rs of March 11. The boat sounds good to me in every way and I know you can build the best fishing boat in the State. The biggest boat builders started much lower in the scale than you are; and in small places, except Brooklyn of course. I hope your stock boat will have worldwide sale.
Be careful of the price. Most people are foolish enough to buy the cheaper boat.
Mahogany of course will be nicer but every plank must be perfect. Thompson Boat Co wouldn't build one for me and Richardson thought he couldn't. Also a white boat will take more abuse and be easier to repair. Personally I would prefer mahogany "finished" in the clear. I am bold to tell you all this

but you know I am interested in you as well as in the boat and would be glad to help --free advertising, no commission etc, but do keep the price down. Would it be better to have trimming and fittings extra--look at Chriscraft of is that too much a trick?
As for seating my idea would be one stationary seat in front, single or double, but open to the rear and if single better on the left side. The rest of the boat could be open for chairs or with seats to taste. I hate to climb over the backs of seats.
Photos will be very welcome. Maybe later you will have a folder and the American people read "pictures" better than print.
The speed seems plenty to me.
Yours sincerely
