letter to Fitzgerald & Lee, Inc. from Fred S. Yale Transcription: [Letterhead: Fred S. Yale, 3 North Clover Drive, Great Neck, New York] May 23, 38 Fitzgerald & Lee, Inc Alexandria Bay, N.Y. Gentlemen, How is my Chrysler motor, hope it is good as new and that there will be no more broken pistons. A constant annoyance has been the leakage of oil from the rear stuffing box. Think I stripped some of the threads on it. Did you replace the rear thrust bearing or was the trouble elsewhere? We expect to come to page 2 the Islands soon after June 23 when school is out. Have written Mr. Root to have the boat ready a few days before so you can have the motor installed. Sincerely yours Fred S. Yale
