Douglas Transcription: Squaw Island Gananoque, Ont Aug 2/34 Messrs Fitzgerald & Lee Gentlemen: One unit of my Auto-Pulse Gas Pump has gone out of business & I am of the opinion I had better get a new Auto Pulse rather than try to doctor this one. I would like your opinion however, as of course you have had a great deal more experience than I have. Will you kindly write me your recommendation & give the cost of a new one of later model, and say whether or not you have them in stock. I would also like to get my propellor shaft straightened accurately & would like to know if you can do this. I am of the opinion I should have a new flange on the propellor shaft, as this one is worn and the key way is worn, and the shaft runs out of true and vibrates & is wearing the stuffing box. If you can do this work, that is supply and Auto Pulse, true up the shaft & make (or fit) a new half flange, I will run down some morning in the forepart [page 2] of next week, say about Tuesday or Wednesday. Other than these items the Chris Craft I purchased from you last July is running very well indeed & I have been much pleased with it. Awaiting your prompt reply, I am yours very truly Geo P.
