My dear Fitzgerald
Yours of 16th to hand and glad to note you have a prospect.
She was built late in 1935, is 39'10" long by 12'4" beam and draws 3' water. She is built of Canadian cedar and oak ribs and is very soundly built as I was there during the process.

Above this tank is a rope locker with hawse hole in which anchor rope is stored. then there a bulkhead and aft of this birth athwartship with beauty rest mattress and cupboard-crews quarters with latch to get in. Aft of this is a bulkhead watertight. then 2. 6'3" high clothes

[page 4]
with 125 ft rope and all ropes for tying up. everything is in good condition--excellent & I think you remember how comfortable a boat she was. I will get a photo of her and send it on to you as soon as possible or I could arrange to meet him in Hamilton which would be more satisfactory probably. I am asking $4000 for her. Of course you know it cost me a lot more than that , but I find it unhandy to go 28 miles to get to
[page 5]
her and I am getting too old to bother with her except the month I go on holiday. I always take August & expect to see you there if I don't sell her in the meantime. She is a beautiful sea boat and exceedingly comfortable & is as well built as a boat could be.
Thanking you for your interest
I am yours very truly
she cruises about 12 miles per hour & I get 4 miles to the gallon
