Scope and Content

letter to Fitzgerald & Lee, Inc. from L. N. Wood Transcription: [Letterhead: Wood & Molloy & France, 25 Broad Street, New York] September 27th, 1935 Fitzgerald & Lee, Alexandria Bay, New York Attention: Mr. Lee [underscored] Gentlemen: Can you not give us the widths and thicknesses you will require, the amount of finishing you need, etc? Regarding the work on the "Curlew", if you felt you could do the extra fine job, giving the boat a very streamline appearance and furnish the mahogany as well as overhaul the motor, and chromium fittings, I would be inclined to go ahead at $600. Very truly yours, Loren N Wood [handwritten: I would like to copy the extreme lines of the De Soto or Chrysler Air Flows as near as possible.]
