Mr Fitzgerald & Lee
I am writing to ask a favor. Will you please send me a New York draft instead of your personal check as I have to pay a discount on your personal check & and really a cent is a dollar to me. Wishing you all the good luck in the world.
Mrs Anna New BrownContext
The Fitzgerald & Lee collection was discovered in 2014, in the attic space of what used to be the Fitzgerald & Lee business offices. The collection was donated to the Alexandria Township Historical Society. Fitzgerald & Lee were prominent boat builders of the area from 1920-1942, building custom boats and selling Gar Wood boats. The museum holds several Fitzgerald & Lee built boats in its permanent collection.Collection
