Letter to Fitzgerald & Lee, Inc. from Peter H. Hayden Transcription: August 29th, 1935 Yale Club Vanderbilt Avenue and Forth-fourth Street New York Mr. Alfred Lee Alexandria Bay, New York Dear Mr. Lee: I received your letter of August 14th regarding the motor boat Simplex. I also had a letter from my Father in whick he said that you had stopped at the Island and talked to him about the boat. Inasmuch as one day sale advertisement in the Thousand Island Sun is so inexpensive page 2 I sure think it would be a good idea to insert one for a couple of issues. I would have done this myself or would do it now if I knew what descriptions to give of the boat. However, I have forgotten the model number etc of the engine and several other things. Could you insert the advertisement for me? Have you had any offers for the boat at all? Emery Slate told me that the man in charge of the A&P stores was interested in her at one time. Yours very truly, Peter H. Hayden
