Dear Sirs,
From this you will probably gather that I have located in St. Pete Fla once more and all communications can be addressed at the above address.
I hope that you have been in touch with B________ concerning the V drive gear box for the installation of the Sunbeam in the runabout (Wild Goose) at your shop. Since that is the proper gear box it would be best to get Mr. B________ as it came out of the boat, however if that is not possible we shall have to find one elsewhere.
Could you please measure the distance from the coupling (end) to the clutch housing (end) that is as pictured [sketch]. Then we will know if there is room to put a ring gear on the flywheel and put the coupling inside the flywheel (which is very small) [sketch]

please also measure the distance from the motor base to hatch (motor hatch).
Perhaps you could also make me a rough estimate of how much it would cost to remodel the top on the forward cockpit in the manner pictured on separate sheet. Change II is best it seems. These however are as you see is very rough Please make me a rough estimate on them especially II. If you can find someone to do the job who needs work or something and can do a good job I would appreciate it. He can make me an estimate.
I shall be pleased to hear from you soon and will send motor as soon as possible sometime after Nov. 1.
Yours truly
R.B. Watson Jr.
[note, vertical, left side]
Did you get letter with check for $100 for B______ and $45 for balance on clutch?

Text: Make estimate on V windshield or not. If good estimate is made I will send more details later. This however is general idea.
This is to be contract price (material, labor etc,).
I believe you can do the job that is one of your men can you not?Collection
