Gentlemen:
I was down to your place yesterday inquiring for a boat. You showed me two in Canada. One boat had a starter and Scripps motor with a long bow. I believe I would like this boat O.K. provided of course it was delivered in good running condition. But you would have to give me until

next season to pay for it. I probably would clean it up this season but I don't like to promise. I can give you $50.00 down and my note backed by my Merchant in Oswegotchie or myself for the balance payable next season. I do not believe the boat is worth more than 300.00 that is all I will give for it.
I own a new house

and two acres of land here and all free and clear and have deed for same.
I would have to have the boat not later than one week from today as the season would be pretty well along.
May I hear from you.
Respectfully
