Dear Mr. Lee:
I have your letter of the 14th and enclose check for $1000 so as you can order the necessary parts to complete the new boat. Have you decided about the motor? Have the Gray Co. made any changes in this model as selected for 1935 etc.? It is immaterial whether you use a one or two glass windshield and I think your idea about side windows a good one. I wish you to be sure to order a good steering wheel gear and wheel not like those on the shifter. You must be sure to install the controls, wiring etc in a good workmanship manner and above all have everything as accessible as it is possible to be.
You can install side racks but be sure they are easily detachable.. I presume you are using brass or galvanized screws on the scow all through it.
Terribly shocked to hear about Morris Knight.
Yours truly,
W.H. Linkboum
