Dear Mr. Fitzgerald:
Your letter of the 10th noted. I still feel you are making a mistake in building the boat you propose at this late date. However, you and Mr. Lee are in position to know more about it than I so will hope for the best. Judging from your letter you have enough capital to take care of the difference between what you wish to build for me namely $1200 and what the hull will cost complete $2500 in which case you will not need any funds from me for some little time. After the hull is well along let me know what you need and I will have a simple agreement made up so we are all protected. I imagine it will be necessary to assign the engine and hull to me as protection against the note until the boat is sold or until the note is paid.
Wishing you the best of luck, I am.
Yours very truly,
W.H. Linkroum
