Letter to Fitzgerald of Fitzgerald & Lee Inc. from Laura Cameron Transcription: Wed Dear Friend Fitz: I just need a letter from Mr. Millers lawyer asking me if I have been restrained from selling the boat on that judgment also another bill of sale to sign. I have not been served with any papers restraining me from the sale so I have just mailed him the papers signed. The judgment was gotten Nov 22nd & the mortgage you have was made Nov 14th. If Miller backs out on this sale to me, will you sell him the boat on the mortgage you hold. If I owed this man any page 2 thing I would make every effort to pay him. As I told you he got this thinking I had the money and would pay him. He would not have gotten the judgment if I had appeared but Mr Cameron took some advice from some supposed friend that he has since discovered to be no friend at all. If this sale does not go through I want you to hold the mortgage and sell the boat when you can. I am asking you to do this as a great favor and at this time I am desperately in need of a friendship which you have been to us at all times. I will let you know how this turns out as soon as I hear.
