Mr. H. Beadle,
c/o Ostrander Hardware Co.,
Richfield Springs, N. Y.
Dear Sir:
Your letter received of Oct. 24th. in connection with the boat we have for sale.
As stated in our previous letter this boat which is just under 26' overall length and about 6' beam and powered with a 50 h. p. Gray 4 cylinder motor is in excellent condition. Everything about it is first class.
We allowed $500.00 for it on a trade in and will let it go this fall for $550.00 cash. If we keep it over to next spring we will have to get $800. for it. It will cost us a considerable amount to keep it over the winter, so therefore we are willing to let it go for this figure.
Hoping to hear from you, we are,
Very truly yours,
Fitzgerald & Lee, Inc.

The Fitzgerald & Lee collection was discovered in 2014, in the attic space of what used to be the Fitzgerald & Lee business offices. The collection was donated to the Alexandria Township Historical Society. Fitzgerald & Lee were prominent boat builders of the area from 1920-1942, building custom boats and selling Gar Wood boats. The museum holds several Fitzgerald & Lee built boats in its permanent collection.Collection
