Mercury: Post WWII Mercury Production list from Grubb's Marine
Entry/Object ID
2023.10.18
Scope and Content
Post WWII Mercury Production list from Grubb's Marine.
"These sheets were produced from information that came from Mercury Marine and have been compared with other information from various parts lists, actual dealer sales records, and serial numbers of existing engines.
Many addittions and corrections have been made to the original information and probably many corrections still need to be made. We are particularly interested in hearing of any motors with serial numbers that fall outside these guidelines.
We feel that in many cases all of the numbers in an allocated block were not used.
Any documentation of improvements we can make to this list are more than welcome.
Model numbers starting with an O- (ie. O-45-1) are drone plane engines. Numbers such as KB-6f & KB-7AY are chain saws."
