Description

The sub-chaser prowled the waters in the Atlantic during World War I, during which time they were credited with sinking a number of U-boats. Six World War I subchasers were built in Clayton by L.E. Fry and the Clayton Ship & Boat Building Corporation. The SC class served a short time in WWII, but was soon replaced with a more powerful class of sub chasers. This kit features laser-cut plank-on-frame construction and was assembled by John Rusho.
