Description

The Blue Heron is a reproduction of a St. Lawrence River Skiff. This skiff utilizes a modern method of construction. The Blue Heron is a cedar strip skiff with cherry decks, covered in fiberglass for strength. This newer method of construction offers a lighter and faster skiff than traditional construction. This boat also has traditionally caned seats. This boat was built by Thom Ingleheart at Blue Heron Boat Works, on Wellesley Island, New York.
