PortinariLast Name
BeatricePerson Description
Dante's life long love and muse.
"Certainly Beatrice Portinari fits the broad biographical criteria, and it's entirely possible that she and Dante knew each other--but the Beatrice of Dante's canon doesn't seem to rely on any such correspondence and exists as a literal character who bears only a passing resemblance to her historical antecedent."
