Description

Linocut image in black ink of bird-like creature emerging from egg. On back of frame: "CYRIL SATORSKY was born in London in 1927. He holds a national diploma in design and a College of Art diploma. He studied painting under Francis Bacon and has taught at Leicester College of Art in Leicester, England, as well as the Maryland Institute in Baltimore, where he is presently teaching illustration and printmaking. He is also a free-lance artist for a variety of magazines and book publishers. The limited edition fine book "The Pride of Rabbis" is scheduled for publication by Aquarius Press in 1970. It will contain a number of original woodcuts by the artist.
