Description

Interior wood. Classical revival style colonnade. Composed of two columns - one column is cylindrical and has complete capital with botanical motif. Column has beaded ornament, veneered burl shank, banded collar, reeded lower section. Other column has two sides joined at right angles with matching decorative components. Includes capital with botanical motif. Above the columns there is a hollow component composed of complex contoured moldings, frieze panels, dentils, and crown moldings. Made of two different hardwoods. Secondary wood is cedar. Varnished finish. Colonnade is attached to museum exhibit mount component for display.
