Description

One lot of three wood moldings. Compound molding profile, including applied moldings. Header piece mitred on both ends. Two matching pieces to form surround. Probably for doorway. Note: Reverse is hand-planed. The outside edges of the two uprights have "ghost" lines in the paint finish which indicate that these may have been mounted adjacent to clapboard siding, such as at a front entrance. Catalogued within interior woodwork accession since it is milled from oak. Made of quarter-sawn oak. Originally varnished - now painted yellow.
