Interior wood post built-up from multiple components (half cross-section). Has ball finial. Has complex contoured top. Block ornament with carved botanical motifs - below which is turned baluster shaped shank - below which is complex-molded base. Portions of post have burled veneer. Originally mounted in Inglenook. - Second floor - off of master bedroom - adjacent to bench and on wall next to inside of doorway. Made of walnut. Secondary softwood backing. Varnished.
