Interior wood window casing. Elaborate, complete assemblage. Has complex contoured molded header. Header has removable recessed burled panel. Flanked on each side with uprights with corner block. Each block has rosette, below which are paired brackets, below which is casing with recessed burled panel, below which is plinth block. Sill extends across to both sides and has convex molded edge. Window opening is without sash and originally had pair of rolling shutters, which are missing. Later fitted with molding to cover grooves in frame. Originally mounted behind benches in Inglenook. Second floor - off of master bedroom. Casing made of walnut. Varnished.
