Interior wood doorway casing. Elaborate, nearly complete assemblage includes top gallery with spindle-work (two spindles are missing). Has rail, ball finials and complex contoured moldings. Below is doorway header with beveled and burled panel. Flanked on each side by matching upright casings. Each casing is composed of corner block with inset carved botanical motif ornament, below which are moldings, below which is carved botanical motif bracket, below which is another block ornament with botanical motif carving, below which is recessed burled panel, below which is another block with circular recess and rosette, below which is applied panel with burl, below which is plinth base. Entrance doorway to Inglenook. Second floor off of master bedroom. Made of walnut,varnished.
