Elaborate combination fender and fireset, cast iron, antique copper finish. Base has curved fender at center and matching rectangular base blocks flanking each side of fender, decorated with beading and leaf and dart edge. Fender has curved tubular rail mounted on three posts. The outer posts are decorated with foliated brackets. A matched pair of fireset tool holders are mounted on each base block. Each holder has square base, vertical shank, curved tool rest, capped with finial. Holders marked with english date registry on underside of tool holders and on back of fender posts. Has matching set of fire tools: shovel, tongs and blunt poker - additional poker differs in style of handle.
