Description

Cast Iron. Pair of andirons. Originally Japanned black. Finish nearly gone. Simulated peening. Hollow casting to represent forged iron. Finial is shield shaped. Has three-cusped club, body tapers outwards to juncture of curved legs. Bolted on fire dogs with curved segment. Straight part has two legs on each andiron.
