Description

Historic plaster ceiling medallion. Detached centerpiece with rope motif. Originally medallion had four segments to compose circular medallion - now has only two. One segment broken. Scrolled stylized leaf and disc. Bead / floral / leaf / ribbon motif. Outer perimeter has appendages with alternating scallop and scroll. Partially stripped down original paint. Same pattern as 1988.14.376. Inscriptions or Markings: Manufacturer: Place of Manufacture: Design motif: Botanical. Style: Finish: Painted. Crated, February 2011.
