Historic plaster. Two semi-circular segments from ceiling medallion surround. (Together the pieces form half of surround). Original diameter approximately thirty seven inches. Has beaded interior edge. Outside perimeter has series of repeating, alternating appendages with stylized shield-shaped Botanical motif and rosette and dart. One segment mounted on plywood (broken).
Same pattern as 1988.14.392.
