Description

Cast iron medallion ornament. Female figure head bolted to circular frame. Four equa-distant botanical ornaments ranged around frame. Reverse has iron plate with hole for mounting. Has sand texturized original finish covered with multiple accumulated layers of paint. Originally medallions of this design were used to decorate top floor spandrels between window arches, just below the cornice. Inscriptions or Markings: Design motif: Botanical Style: Finish: Painted
