Description

Cast iron capital from unidentified building. Hollow block with compound molding at top and bottom edges,return at sides,applied acanthus and volute ornaments on front and two sides,trimmed down on each respective side.One ornament has been reattached with modern bolts.Reverse has eyelet for anchorage to masonry.Brick fragment lodged in back.Front and sides have few remnants of paint.
