Description

Set of four historic plaster frieze panels, depicting classical figures. Each panel is reinforced with plant fibre, each panel has Wood frame armature and backing supports, some have attached wires and hooks for hanging. Panels have cracks and chips, one panel with detached/missing parts.These are attributed to original Portland Art Museum and are supposed to depict portions of the Elgin Marbles. Finish: Painted off-white
