Exterior door. Two panels -- one at top and other at bottom, with applied moldings. Single opening with clear glass pane. Lock rail has mail slot. Edge of door has astragal molding and later strike plate. Interior side has two vertical sliding bolts. Interior and exterior sides are varnished.
