A pair of round, domed wooden earrings, each a disc of pale honey-toned wood (the grain and growth rings clearly visible) with a convex top and a flat back. The fronts are smooth and lightly varnished, with whitish rubbed/worn patches at the high point and minor scuffs. On the back of each, a circular metal plate is fixed centrally (set into or glued onto the wood, with visible adhesive residue and, on one, some splitting/loss of the wood around the plate) carrying a hinged clip-back (clip-on, not pierced) finding of brass-tone metal with a pierced, scalloped lever.Item Type
