Description

Single circular plastic disc fob, pierced near the top and suspended from a short metal ball-chain with coupling. The disc is two-sided — one face black, the other red, the two colors of the 26th of July Movement — with "M 26-7" stamped in white on each face (shown front and back). Lettering are engraved/stamped and white-filled.

"M-26-7" denotes the Movimiento 26 de Julio, named for the 26 July 1953 attack on the Moncada Barracks (Santiago de Cuba); red and black are the movement's colors (conventionally red for revolutionaries' blood, black for mourning/clandestine struggle). The single disc carries both colors, reproducing the movement's two-color scheme across its two faces.
