The track list is notable for its composers: the album draws on Juan Formell (several tracks), and includes early songs by Silvio Rodríguez ("Hay un grupo que dice") and Pablo Milanés ("Mis 22 años") alongside Marta Valdés, Francia Domech, Piloto y Vera, and M. Solís–Ch. Herrera.
