Note

Chair with Table exemplifies Castle's affinity for combining functions. A long bridging element connects the two ends and serves to eliminate traditional leg supports. In the early 2000s, new owners moved the piece outdoors where it soon fell apart. When Castle learned out its destruction, he revisited the design and created Phoenix V.26, completed in 2006.
