Tomiko has a gift – her hands. Though her right hand is impaired, she will
greet you with a smile, wrap your hand in a powerful grip with her left hand,
and start bending and kneading in a relaxing shiatsu massage. It's really all
this loving and generous woman needs to communicate.
Born in Japan, where she liked to cook and did some art, she still enjoys
Japanese music. She has a penchant for stuffed animals, which line the foot
of her bed.
Tomiko enjoys painting colorful abstracts. Though she's not always inspired
to pick up her brushes in class to create art in the traditional sense, she's one
of those people who takes you to other worlds, if you're willing to go there.
