Chau Fung Ho is originally from Hong Kong, China. She has been participating in the AWE class at On Lok Gee Center since 2021. She joined the class when it started meeting online during the COVID-19 pandemic, and now attends in person at the center.
Ms. Ho appreciates the class as “a platform to learn new skills and make new friends.” She enjoys learning about mixing color and says she has gained skills in proportions and composition.
“Seeing others’ beautiful pictures makes me feel good and helps me set a goal for myself.” Creating art “brightens up my life,” she adds.
Ms. Ho offers these words of wisdom: “Don’t be attached to everything. It’s better to open up your life. Share more love with others. It’s more blessed to give than to receive.”
