Cecelia, who likes to be called Ceis, moved from Seattle, Washington to San Francisco about a decade ago. Before retiring, she worked as an Occupational Therapist. She helped patients regain the use of their hands after serious injury or illness. Ceis helped them strengthen their fingers and get them ready to resume “activities of daily living.” Hands are important to artist! Cee is rightly proud of her career path.
As a young adult, Ceis rode horses with her fellow Girl Scouts and in other venues. She always liked to draw horses with either pencil or pen though she never took art classes.
Today, she enjoys her AWE classes, particularly the teacher and the class format. “It’s a good time!”
